Privacy notice

Be Like Bill is run by Noles Technology Inc., 46 Avenue B, New York, NY 10009 ("we"). This notice explains what the app collects and why. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Your account. If you sign in with Apple: the identifier Apple gives us, your email or Apple's private relay address, and your first name if Apple shares it. If you sign in by email: your email address.
- What you tell the app. Your onboarding answers, including anything you type in your own words, which we read to improve the app, plus your reminder time and time zone.
- Your cards. The people you add and what you record about them: names, roles, places, notes, tags and when you'll next see them.
- Your progress. Reps done, how each one felt, drill results and scheduling.
- Subscription status. Your plan and whether it's active. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card.
- Usage events. Actions such as finishing a rep or a drill score, tied to your account. These never include names, notes or transcripts.
Your voice
Your iPhone turns speech into text on the device. Audio is never saved and never sent to us. The resulting text is sent to our server and to Anthropic, our AI provider, to write the card. What you file is stored with your account.
Your calendar
If you allow it, the app reads your calendar on your iPhone to find events that mention people in your box. We save only the matched meeting's time and event identifier, not the rest of your calendar.
People you add
Your cards hold information about other people. Please record only what you'd be comfortable with them knowing, and avoid sensitive details such as health or finances unless they'd expect you to remember them. If you believe you're on someone's card, ask them to remove it.
Who processes your data
- Supabase: account and data storage.
- Anthropic: writes cards from your notes, under commercial terms that don't allow training on this data.
- RevenueCat: subscription status.
- PostHog: usage events.
- Apple: sign-in, payments and notifications.
- Vercel: hosts this website.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete your account. In the app, open You, then Delete account, and your cards, notes and progress are erased.
Your choices and rights
You can delete a card in the app by opening it and tapping its number at the top, and you can delete your whole account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Write to support@belikebill.app and we'll respond within the time the law requires.
Children
The app isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this notice changes in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
